Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2010 with an intake of 60. Department has well qualified and experienced teaching faculty and technical staff with state of the art laboratories to meet the quality education required for present challenging societal and industrial needs. The main objective of the department is to provide in-depth knowledge to the students in the field of Computer Science & Engineering and Allied Subjects and it emphasizes on Awareness of Entrepreneurship development skills. The Department is actively involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with associations and professional bodies also.

Laboratory Facilities

The Department has well-equipped Computer Laboratories with state of art PCs. All the PC's have access to WiFi high speed internet. The students are given access to the High-End PCs strictly in a 1:1 ratio, so as to enable them to have a concrete hands-on experience and be abreast with the latest Software Technologies.

The Department conducts its Laboratory Classes in the respective specialized laboratories predetermined for the purpose.

A glimpse of the Laboratories may be as follows :

• Concept of Computer Programming Laboratory helps the students to learn computer concepts and build the skills in C programming.
• Data Structures Laboratory in which intensive learning of advanced C Programming and CPP concepts.
• Design and analysis of algorithms laboratory are conducted in windows as well as Linux platform, which helps students device and analyze new algorithms for themselves and implementation of real life problems are done.
• The labs are also capable of conducting higher semester classes like UNIX and shell programming, DBMS, Network and web Design.

Database Applications Laboratory

This lab deals with relational database management system and pronounced as separate letters RDBMS, a type of database management system (DBMS) where students are given hand on experience to that stores data with the help of SQL( Structured query language) in the form of related tables and how the mange the data in the data base.

System Software & Operating Systems Laboratory

In System software Lab the students are taught write computer software designed to operate the computer hardware and to provide a platform for running application software. This lab also train students in unix shell programming Fedora operating system.

Computer Graphics And Visualization Laboratory

In this laboratory student implement code practically to deal with the computational generation of images and image sequences from given data, and visualization addresses the issues of casting data to suitable representations with the help of OpenGL software with C/C++.

Unix System Programming And Compiler Design Laboratory

Compiler is a software which converts High level language to Low level Language. Compiler is a software which bridges the gap between user and the computer . So during the lab session the students implement lexical analyzer and code for each phase to understand compiler software working and its code in detail.
