Department of Civil Engineering

The department of civil engineering came into existence along with the college in the year 2010. It has an intake of 60 students. The department is currently headed by Prof. B. M. Ramalinga Reddy who has have more than 25 years of teaching experience in reputed colleges. Under his guidance it has committed itself to the proclaimed pledge of producing quality Civil Engineering professionals by the virtue of its very competent faculty and state-of-the-art laboratories. Ever since the department came into being, it has dedicated itself towards the never ending quest for knowledge and contributing with vigour in the development of Karnataka.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

Of the many engineering disciplines Mechanical Engineering is the broadest engineering profession is established in the year 2010 with an intake of 60 students. The department is houred in a separate building with well-equipped class rooms, laboratories, machine shop and workshop. The department derives its excellence from a team of sincere, talented and dedicated faculty members and also from well trained and experienced non-teaching staff. Faculty not only teaching to the syllabus, but also teach beyond the syllabus. Apart from regular teaching, the department conducts special classes for academically weaker students.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering came into existence along with the establishment of the institution in the year 2010. The department has well qualified, motivated, and young teaching faculty whose main focus is on the "teaching- learning" with the right balance in research. In this age of development in technology it is we the electronics & communication engineers who hold the key to development with our horizon ranging from Signal Processing to Communication and VLSI. Highly accomplished E&C Department emphasizes on the design, analysis, and application of electronics and communication structures. Laboratories are continuously updated with the latest equipments in the field. The department has the following labs housed in separate, spacious and well designed blocks.

Department of Computer Science Engineering

Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2010 with an intake of 60. Department has well qualified and experienced teaching faculty and technical staff with state of the art laboratories to meet the quality education required for present challenging societal and industrial needs. The main objective of the department is to provide in-depth knowledge to the students in the field of Computer Science & Engineering and Allied Subjects and it emphasizes on Awareness of Entrepreneurship development skills. The Department is actively involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with associations and professional bodies also.

Department Of Physics

Physics is the most mature of the sciences and provides much of the conceptual apparatus and instrumentation for Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Engineering. It has inspired the creative work of mathematicians, philosophers, and social scientists and has repeatedly transformed the framework of civilization. Engineering Physics forms a core subject of the applied science. The department offers intensive coaching for both theory and practical's (regular laboratory experiments). The department faculty strives hard to communicate the excitement of Physics to the students.

Department of Chemistry

Department of chemistry at BTI functions with the motto of teaching a student the fundamentals of Engineering Chemistry which is essential for a better understanding of a pure Engineering subject.

Department of Mathematics

Mathematics is an integral part of Engineering. Engineering applications use Mathematics to model real world problems and obtain analytical/numerical solutions. Guass has called Mathematics the "Queen of the Sciences". It has provided powerful intellectual tools that have made possible tremendous advances in modern science and technology.
