This lab is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art components and equipments to conduct practical experiments on all aspects of digital circuits and devices. The lab ably supplements the theory course on Digital Electronics

ANALOG ELECTRONICS CIRCUITS AND LIC LAB

The main objective of this lab is to relate large and small-signal models of diodes, JFETs, MOSFETs, bipolar transistors and operational amplifiers to their behavior in practical electronic circuits and provide the student with the experience of designing, constructing, integrating, testing and debugging an active electronic circuit.

Equipments:
Signal Generators, Function Generators, CRO, Digital Oscilloscope, DRBs, DCBs, DIBs, Digital multi meter, Fixed and variable power supplies.
Software:
PSPICE Simulation Software
ADVANCE DIGITAL COMMUNICATION LAB

The main objective of this lab is to practice to design all electronic circuits. The lab is well equipped with high configuration equipments. The lab helps in the detailed understanding of the concepts of the theory course on Digital communication.

Equipments:
ASK, FSK,BPSK, DPSK kits , Optical fiber Communication Kits, Microwave test bench, Function and Signal generators.
POWER ELECTRONICS LAB

This lab addresses issues related to energy conservation, alternate energy systems, zero energy buildings and locomotion. Alternate energy systems, power converters,PWM techniques and AC motor drives. Experiments and projects in this lab includes multilevel inverter topologies and control for high power drives, bond graph modeling for the design of switched mode power controllers, sensor less control for induction motors, desalination of seawater using hybrid energy technology, wind energy capture system for standalone applications, quality power supply with magnetic arm switching

SCR,DIAC,MOSFET,IGBT kits, HWR and FWR using RC triggering kits, Single phase converter kit, AC voltage controller kit, Voltage commutator chopper kit, Speed control of DC motor and universal motor, parallel series inverter kits.
VLSI / DSP / MICROPROCESSOR / MICROCONTROLLER LAB
DSP LABORATORY

This lab deals with the basics of digital signal processing on a digital signal processor. Analysis and design is done via MATLAB and implementation on Texas Instrument TMS320C6416 fixed-point digital signal processor

Equipments:
DSP Starter Kit (TMS 320C5416), Standalone DSP with Built Power Supply, 30 MHz DUAL CHANNEL CRO, 0.3Hz to 30MHz FUNCTION GENERATOR.
Software:
MATLAB Simulation Software 9.0, Code Composer [CC] Studio 6.6
MICROPROCESSOR LABORATORY

The lab is equipped with Microprocessors ranging from 8 bit to 16 bit such as 8085, 8086, ARM7 etc along with Microcontrollers like 8051. The lab has provision to conduct detailed experiments on the basics as well as advanced applications of Microcontrollers such as stepper motor control, Elevator control, Robotic movement control, etc.

MICROCONTROLLER LABORATORY

The lab is equipped with Microcontroller ranging from 8 bit to 16 bit such as 8051,MSP430 etc. The lab has provision to conduct detailed experiments on the basics as well as advanced applications of Microcontrollers such as stepper motor control, Elevator control, Robotic movement control, etc.

VLSI LABORATORY

This lab is to enhance engineering education in the field of VLSI design and thus increase the number of graduates with experience in this area for the growing microelectronics industry of the country.
