Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering came into existence along with the establishment of the institution in the year 2010. The department has well qualified, motivated, and young teaching faculty whose main focus is on the "teaching- learning" with the right balance in research. In this age of development in technology it is we the electronics & communication engineers who hold the key to development with our horizon ranging from Signal Processing to Communication and VLSI. Highly accomplished E&C Department emphasizes on the design, analysis, and application of electronics and communication structures. Laboratories are continuously updated with the latest equipment's in the field. The department has the following labs housed in separate, spacious and well-designed blocks.

Laboratory Facilities

The following laboratories are part of the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Analog Electronic Circuits Lab

To motivate the students in basic electronic circuits like amplifiers, op-amps, transistors etc.

Logic design Lab

A lab to provide students with hand held experience to work with digital IC's and trainer kits.

Microcontrollers Lab

To educate students with the latest technologies in process control using computers.

HDL Lab

To learn how to write a simple VHDL source code and compile it using the ModelSim's tools.

Microprocessors Lab

A full-fledged microprocessor lab, it offers interaction with 8085 model.

DSP Lab

The purpose of this lab is to illustrate the properties of signals using digital computers and the Matlab software environment. Practically, all lab tasks will be performed using Matlab.

Matlab (MA,Trix ,LABoratory) is a technical computing environment for numerical analysis, Matrix computation, signal processing and graphics.

Advanced communication Lab

Students construct and analyse circuits on analog communication transmitter and receiver . The students conduct experiment to understand the signals available at different stages of AM and FM receivers. The objective of this coarse is to familiarize the students with different blocks in digital communication.

Microprocessor Lab

this lab course id to provide a "hands-on" experience with an ARM7-based microprocessor system and designing ,construction, testing and structured programming techniques are emphasized. This laboratory covers the hardware & software design requirements for PC-based system design. The student can design input/output interface and write the required software for different applications. Each experiment teaches an important programming/interfacing techniques.
