Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The institution has established an IQAC during the academic year 2018-19 with senior professor & HoD as its chairman and one senior faculty member as the convener. It is represented by HoD’s of various departments and senior faculty members.

# The IQAC monitors quality assurance and the Principal plans out academic and administrative activities through the meeting of the institutional planning body which is responsible for the functioning of the college.

# The outcomes are discussed in the academic meetings for improvements like teaching methods, remedial classes for slow learners, placement activities, training programs for competitive exams, NSS/NCC activities, and value-added programs.

# IQAC reviews institutional process and provides suggestions for quality assurance.

A majority of the suggestions made by IQAC are implemented in our institution like incorporating innovative teaching methods, organizing workshops and conferences, conducting additional courses beyond syllabus for technical updation to become industry ready, membership in professional bodies like ISTE, CSI, IEI, etc.

Entrepreneur Development Cell ( IEDC)- Innovation

Entrepreneurship development cell aims to support and boost the efforts of building entrepreneurs, and transform them into successful entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship development cell helps entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable businesses. This Cell cultivates rare breed of entrepreneurs by incubating, accelerating, mentoring and funding innovative start-ups.

Entrepreneurship development cell is working in collaboration with the national entrepreneurship network (NEN) in promoting entrepreneurship among the students at the campus to raise the spirit of innovation and creativity.

Anti-Ragging and Anti Sexual Harassment

Ragging Free Campus

The college strictly adheres to the stringent directiveness of the Government of India and UGC, by formulating various committees to address grievances.

Ragging is a punishable offence as per section 116 of Karnataka Education Act No.1 of 1995.

Students are expected to adhere to guidelines for prohibition of ragging and gender sensitization. Anti-Ragging and Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee will meet frequently in order to oversee that no Ragging or Sexual Harassment take place inside the class rooms, within college, hostel premises and at other surrounding places.
