Since its inception, the department of mathematics has continually catered to the all-round development of budding engineers. Doctorates and research scholars in the department are currently conducting research in diverse areas such as linear algebra, graph theory, fluid mechanics, fuzzy theory, finite automata and formal languages. Many students who pass through the department have successfully secured cent percent marks in engineering mathematics, discrete mathematics and other mathematical subjects, thus obtaining the solid foundation they require.
