The Department of Mechanical Engineering at BTI offers a Four-Year B.E. Programme with an AICTE Approved intake of 30 seats, affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. One of the Core Engineering disciplines, The Programme covers Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, Design, Manufacturing, CAD/CAM and idustrial engineering, equipping students for careers in Automobile, Aerospace, Energy, Production and Infrastructure sectors.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO1: To prepare students with overall knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and also in the fields of Mathematics, Science and Computing skills and enabling them to understand specific problem areas and finding the optimum solutions for the same.
PEO2: To prepare Mechanical Engineering graduates for higher education in engineering and management so that they can excel in core design, thermal, manufacturing, management, or software careers through quality education.
PEO3: Enable graduates to adapt to emerging technologies and industry trends, demonstrating competence in solving complex engineering challenges through continuous learning.
PEO4: Develop graduates into ethical, socially responsible professionals with effective communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
