BTI Ignite Incubation Council is a not-for-profit Section 8 Company, founded by Dr. A. Prabhakara Reddy, dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and technology-driven solutions. Registered as an MSME and NGO DARPAN organization, the council provides a vibrant ecosystem that supports startups, students, researchers, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs in transforming innovative ideas into impactful products and sustainable ventures.
The council facilitates the complete innovation lifecycle through startup incubation, mentoring, research guidance, product prototyping, intellectual property (IPR) facilitation, technology commercialization, industry collaborations, and startup acceleration. With its Centre of Excellence in Humanoid Robotics and Centre of Excellence in Internet of Things (IoT), BTI Ignite offers a diverse range of industry-oriented internships, live projects, hackathons, innovation challenges, workshops, and entrepreneurship development programs. Internship opportunities span emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, Embedded Systems, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Product Design, and Intellectual Property Rights.
Committed to experiential learning and multidisciplinary innovation, BTI Ignite Incubation Council equips participants with practical skills, expert mentorship, and real-world exposure, enabling them to develop industry-ready solutions, create intellectual property, launch technology-driven startups, and contribute to technological advancement and societal development.
The Incubation Center at BTI serves as a launchpad for student and faculty entrepreneurs, providing infrastructure, guidance and industry networks to validate ideas and build start-ups.
Through hackathons, innovation challenges, pre-incubation programmes and patent support, we foster an entrepreneurial mindset across every engineering discipline.
It is led by Dr. A. Prabhakara Reddy (CEO), Dr. N. Manjula (CSO) and Dr. Sujana P Reddy (COO), together with a dedicated Board of Governors overseeing the council's innovation and entrepreneurship mandate.

Our evaluation process is designed to encourage continuous learning and innovation. Interns are assessed through milestone-based reviews, mentor feedback, technical performance, project quality, creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and adherence to timelines.
Successful participants are awarded an Internship Completion Certificate, and outstanding performers may receive Letters of Appreciation, recommendations for advanced projects, research opportunities, or startup incubation support.
